News :: A Double Shot of Monsterus at Joes Java!

Friday, June 18th...Monsterus arrived at Joes Java to perform with hardcore/screamo band A Day of Reckoning. However, the closer it got to showtime it became evident that A Day of Reckoning was not going to make it to the gig. Needless to see the evening was going to change quite a bit...Monsterus would go on much earlier than expected...and play a bit longer than planned. But as all Monsterus fans know...the band thrives in these situations and the show at Joes was no different. This concert was all out energy from beginning to end...and was captured on film to be later incorporated into an upcoming Monsterus DVD. The show also was recorded LIVE from the soundboard in which some tracks from this show may appear on the forthcoming Monsterus Live album which it tentatively being planned for release around the holidays. The guys are in agreement that Joes is one of their favorite places to play...they really treat their bands well...Thanks Alan and Jeff for all your help and hospitality!!!
