After much anticipation the long awaited update to MONSTERUS.COM
is finally here!!! It has been a whirlwind since the albums
release...not to mention all the busyness that has accompanied
the launch of our record company, B2
Entertainment...which on July 4th (Independence Day)
celebrated it's First birthday as a record company. We hope
by all the exciting news below...you'll understand why the
website has been the one thing that has been difficult to
keep up-to-date. Monsterus is also pleased to now have a
full-time webmaster who will be helping maintain both the
Monsterus and B2 Entertainment websites...and God-willing
updates will be posted in a more "real-time" way as things
continue to get MONSTERUS! A few quick exciting things to
mention...Earlier in the year, Don and Mars had the privilege
of meeting the guys of Disciple at
the Gathering Grounds,
then on April 21st, Monsterus was able to re-connect with
Disciple at Joes Java for
an incredible evening of music and ministry! Following the
concert, at the request of Disciple singer, Kevin Young the
guys retreated to a mini Zealot listening party in Zilla's
'Monsterus Avalanche.' The guys were excited to hear Kevin's
response to the new album "I've never heard anything like
this...nobody is doing anything like it...very cool!!!" Check
out the cool pic of lead Disciple, Kevin with Monsterus at
the close of the evening. Hopefully buy now you've had the
chance to read the long posted article regarding Monsterus
being featured on both the Soundtrack and in the Sci-Fi Animated
film 'Aneste Brace of Two.' Well, at press time Monsterus
had received both the Final Draft of the screenplay from "Aneste" Director,
Brad Bowman as well as the first "rough cut" of the DVD (click
here to see DVD Artwork) which includes a very cool section
on Monsterus. "Very Cool Project!!!!" Says Ron, "Brad is
not only putting together a great film, but more importantly
...a much needed ministry tool and we're honored to be a
part of it". Other artists involved with the project include
Bride and Lance King (formerly of Balance of Power.) Last
but not least, Ron was excited to recently see an old photo
of himself backstage with Christian Metal Pioneers, Bloodgood
at the 1988 Cornerstone Festival posted on the official Bloodgood website
along with Monsterus being added to the Bloodgood
'Official' Links Page. "These guys were a major influence
on me and you knew what they were singing about was real
and being lived out in their lives...Thanks Guys!!!"
